Course Description

Day 1

1
Pick Up
* Please select the pick-up location from the options above.
2
Mangwon Market
The market isn’t very large, but one can find classics like the deep-fried and braised chicken, braised pigs' feet, and other snack fare there, along with stores offering food and lifestyle items for some browsing. The roads here tend to be narrow and crowded, and there are cars that run along the alleyways so visitors are advised to to take special care to ensure safety.
3
K-Pop Dance Studio
At a studio featured on Netflix, CNN, and ESPN, you have the opportunity to easily and enjoyably learn K-pop choreography from professional dancers who are currently active in the industry. Don’t worry if you are new to dancing or not confident in your Korean! After 1 hour and 30 minutes of letting the music take over, you will become a K-pop dance master. (We provide a certificate and capture your moments in videos and photos.) Along with the dance class, don’t miss out on the special experience of feeling the true atmosphere and all aspects of K-culture in Seoul!
4
The Same Cafe & YG MD store (Lunch and food are on your own)
The SameE Cafe, launched by YG Entertainment in June 2021 in Hapjeong, Seoul, is designed to strengthen the bond between YG artists and their fans. The café features a theme that emphasizes the idea that "fans are the alter-egos of artists," creating a welcoming space for fan interaction. It offers beverages, official merchandise, and hosts events and exhibitions, providing a vibrant environment for fans to connect with the YG community.
5
YG Entertainment Headquaters
YG Entertainment, founded in 1996, is a powerhouse in the K-pop industry, managing iconic groups like BIGBANG and BLACKPINK. Recently, YG introduced newer artists like TREASURE, a rising boy group, and BABYMONSTER, who debuted in 2023, further expanding their global reach. Known for fostering artist creativity, YG remains a trendsetter in music, fashion, and entertainment.
6
Bukchon Hanok Vilage
Surrounded by Gyeongbokgung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace and Jongmyo Shrine, Bukchon Hanok Village is home to hundreds of traditional houses, called hanok, that date back to the Joseon dynasty. The name Bukchon, which literally translates to "northern village," came about as the neighborhood lies north of two significant Seoul landmarks, Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jongno. Today, many of these hanoks operate as cultural centers, guesthouses, restaurants and tea houses, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience, learn and immerse themselves in traditional Korean culture. As Bukchon Hanok Village is an actual neighborhood with people's homes, visitors are advised to be respectful at all times while looking around.
7
Hanbok Experience
The hanbok, “Korean dress” is just what the name suggests: Korean traditional dress. One of the most enduring images of traditional Korea are the smooth, gently rounded lines of the hanbok, which both obscures and allures. On the holidays, the nation’s train stations and bus terminals are awash in the bright colors of the hanbok as Koreans don the traditional garb to celebrate.
