Course Description

Day 1

Alpaca World: Alpaca World is located in the clean, green forests of Hongcheon, Gangwon State, and is an alpaca-themed travel destination where one can meet animals enjoying natural lives up close. There are about 50 cute alpacas in the Andes Eco range, a replica of the mountainous terrain of the Andes in South America. The Relaxing stroll with Alpacas program is one of Alpaca World's representative experiences where visitors can take a walk and interact with alpacas in the green forest. Also, there is an Alpaca Playground, where guests can interact with alpacas in a square with a large lawn, and a Birds' Garden, which makes one feel like they have entered a fairy tale world the moment the door is opened. The Alpaca World also offers fun activities and a variety of animals, including deer, rabbits, goats, ostriches, camels, owls, and eagles.

Nami Island: Nami Island, with the concept of “Fairy Tale Village and Song Village,” provides various cultural events, concerts, exhibitions, and more to give children dreams and hopes, couples' love and memories, and artists a space for creativity. Tourists can enjoy facilities including Song Museum, Picture Book Playground, MICE Center, and various activities such as Charity Train, Story Tour Bus, Bicycle, etc. Restaurants provide delicious food with carefully selected local ingredients and Hotel Jeonggwanru has themed accommodations.

Had a really fun day! Nami Island was definitely my favorite part—absolutely beautiful. I’d recommend skipping the train ride since it’s not that exciting, and instead, use that extra time to explore more. We only had about 1.5 hours, which wasn’t quite enough.Overall, a great experience! Our guide, Mimi, was super helpful and made the day even better. Highly recommend!
