Changdeok Palace(Bukchon Hanok village on Mon)
This walking tour takes visitors around Changdeokgung (Changdeok Palace), the second grand palace of the Joseon Dynasty, built in 1405 by King Taejong (the 3rd king of the Joseon Dynasty). In 1592, the main palace, Gyeongbokgung, was completely destroyed by fire during the Japanese Invasion of Korea and Changdeokgung became the home of the Joseon court for 270 years. Changdeokgung was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as being an outstanding example of Far Eastern palace architecture and garden design, exceptional for the way in which the buildings are integrated into and harmonized with the landscape.

6
Insadong
Insadong is a popular tourist destination for visitors from all around the world, thanks to its numerous art galleries, restaurants serving Korean table d’hote, traditional teahouses, and street vendors lining the streets. Its most recognizable feature is the use of Hangeul (Korean script) in storefronts, which allows the visitors to really see just what makes this place so special. Unlike the nearby Ikseon-dong Hanok Street, Insadong Cultural Street has larger streets with wider stores, so it is much easier to traverse. On evenings and weekends, one can find buskers performing on the side of the road.
7
Namdaemun Market
Opened in 1964, Namdaemun Market is the largest traditional market in Korea with shops selling various goods. All products are sold at affordable prices and the stores in this area also function as wholesale markets.
Most of the goods are made directly by the storeowners. Namdaemun Market is even open overnight, from 23:00 to 04:00, and is crowded with retailers from all over the country. When day breaks, the site of busy shoppers bustling around the market creates a unique scene that attracts tourists worldwide. Namdaemun Market sells a variety of clothes, glasses, kitchenware, toys, mountain gear, fishing equipment, stationery, fine arts, accessories, hats, carpets, flowers, ginseng, and imported goods.

Family-Friendly and Memorable!
Review for : [Small Group Tour] All in one Full-day Tour No.1 (Palace, Insadong, Namdaemun Market)
We joined the Seoul city tour as a family of four, and it was such a great experience! Our guide, Mimi, was super kind and really knew how to keep both adults and kids engaged. The highlight for our kids was definitely Gyeongbokgung Palace they loved seeing the guards in traditional uniforms and taking photos in front of the beautiful gates. Bukchon Hanok Village was also a hit for all of us; walking through the traditional houses felt like stepping back in time. The pace was relaxed, and there were plenty of breaks, which was perfect for our younger child. Mimi even helped us find a great lunch spot that had options for picky eaters!Highly recommend this tour for families it was educational, fun, and stress-free.

Teens Loved It Too!
Review for : [Small Group Tour] All in one Full-day Tour No.1 (Palace, Insadong, Namdaemun Market)
We did the Seoul city tour with our two teenagers, and it turned out to be a great family day! Our guide, Jung, was fantastic—super friendly and shared fun facts that even kept the kids interested. The highlight for our teens was definitely N Seoul Tower. They loved the panoramic views and taking photos at the love locks area. They also really enjoyed Insadong, where they picked out some cool souvenirs and tried street snacks. It was a good mix of history and modern culture, and the schedule wasn’t too packed, so no one felt rushed. Jung made sure everyone was comfortable and even gave great local tips for the rest of our trip.Definitely recommend this tour if you’ve got teens entertaining, educational, and easygoing!

Hidden Gem Food Tour
Review for : [Small Group Tour] All in one Full-day Tour No.1 (Palace, Insadong, Namdaemun Market)
Fantastic food tour with a local expert! The selection of dishes was carefully curated, and the location was off the beaten path, making it a unique experience. Eunice was amazing—professional, friendly, and super knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend her to friends and family visiting Seoul!

Samcheong-dong
Review for : [Small Group Tour] All in one Full-day Tour No.1 (Palace, Insadong, Namdaemun Market)
Samcheong-dong is a unique mix of traditional Hanok houses and modern buildings, making it a popular spot in Jongno. It’s a great place to eat, shop, and grab a drink.Since it’s connected to Bukchon Hanok Village, you can start your walk from Samcheong-dong and explore all the way through Bukchon’s charming alleys. Just keep in mind—1.5 hours isn’t really enough to check out all the local shops. Plan for more time if you want to soak it all in!
